Mitten gauntlet “Mitstone D” is created for two-handed weapon and poleaxes. This is historical stylization, based on the separately existing elements of the medieval gauntlets. It doesn’t provide a full scope of the wrist, but allows you to do needed moves while fighting with poleaxe of two-handed sword. The gauntlet has maximum protection from all of the sides.

Description
This gauntlets are very similar to the “Tristan” model, but have a difference in the cuff. It is significantly longer for better protection. In the tournaments with one-handed weapon it is not possible to make some “fencing blows” but they are a good fit for polearms and two-handed weapon.
We can make such gauntlets in titanium, bu the knuckles and thumb would be from tempered spring steel.
The left pair is titanium.
This is not a reconstruction, this is a stylization of the plate gauntlets of 15th century.
