Great bascinet Sailsbury is a composite image of such helmets in the medieval England. There is no exact artefact, but all details and geometry are real. Both reenactors and sports fighters can use it, for the foot fight as well as jousting. The helmet is quite practical, but vision and breathing ability are not the best.
