Three-fingered gauntlets for reenactment and HEMA.
Three-fingered gauntlets for reenactment and HEMA.
Description
The cuff of the plate gauntlets “Alamercer” is based on the German mittens of the 15th century. The three-finger system was borrowed from other medieval images. Due to the fingers being separate, the weapon is easy to hold, the ring finger and the pinky are more moveable. The long cuff will restrict the movement a bit though. The gauntlets are not recommended for the one-handed weapon.
